Every year on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we pause to honour and remember the trans and gender-diverse people whose lives have been tragically lost to violence, discrimination, and hatred. It is a day marked by reflection, mourning, and a deep commitment to creating a safer, more inclusive world.

🕯️💙 Today at Walsall Pride, we light candles not only in memory of those we’ve lost, but also in solidarity with the living trans community who continue to face disproportionate challenges. Their courage, resilience, and authenticity remind us why the fight for justice and equality must continue.

Trans lives are precious. Trans voices deserve to be heard. Trans people deserve safety, dignity, and love—every single day.

As we remember, we also act. We challenge discrimination, advocate for change, uplift trans stories, and support the community with unwavering compassion.
